    Screen top

Yesterday I was Googling and clicking around, and I found a site that had a picture of a screen top that had been modified to hold in heat better. The guy had put tin foil over most of the screen, then covered it with black tape, I think. I can't seem to find it again today, and I've been all through my internet history.
Does anyone know the site I'm talking about?

Nope but I know I used to have awesome results using clear "ConTac" paper to cover the outside of the screen. Then I left 3 of the corsers snipped open, it upped humidity and stabilized temps quite nicely and I was able to get a sizeable roll of the stuff at a nearby drug store for a little over a dollar.

Oh hey, that's an excellent idea, and sounds much easier to do. I'll pick some up today. Thanks!

We use custom cut plexiglass because it's more permanent and it looks nicer:

Have a look at the link in my sig for th
e Glass Viv Guide that my fiance Rick wrote that describes how we have our girl's glass cages set up.
0.1 ball python (Cleo), 0.1 surinam bcc (Carmen)
1.0 sunglow motley corn (Jenson), 1.0 albino burmese (Lourdes)
1.0 cat (Nicky), some mooses and ratters, 1.0 hubby (Rick)

I went ahead and picked up some of the ConTac paper today, since I was at the Hobby Lobby anyway. I just need a temporary solution until I can move Trey to a plastic tub.
