A boy and his dog
Just snapped these this morning. Mikey's usual habit is to wander out of bed half asleep and after a quick pit stop in the bathroom, hit the couch for some quiet cartoon time (he is definitely NOT a morning kid LOL). Seems Gunnar is picking up the routine and as soon as Mikey snuggles under the blanket she hops up and curls up with her boy for some quiet morning time (with the occasional wet slobbery kisses tossed in! LOL) Sorry for my flash photography skills, for some reason her eyes reflect back with this odd bright blue in them...anyone know why?

Re: A boy and his dog
I wonder if the blue reflection is like red eye with my flash. Dang I may have to actually break down and read the book that came with the camera....ACK! Oh well at least it matches the color of her collar lol

Re: A boy and his dog
Very best buddies Nancy. Gunnar's very watchful of Mikey. When we are out walking if the little man gets too far ahead she whines and strains to catch up with him, if he drops behind us she stops dead, turns and won't budge till he catches up. Awfully cute!
It's going pretty well Christie. Housetraining is hit and miss but that's pretty normal with a 12 week old pup. She's getting the basic idea down...it's more about me remembering to do enough runs out to the yard for a pup this age (it's been a long time since I've done housetraining). She's figured out "sit" and "Gunnar go to your bed" and is starting to figure out "down" and "hey stop chewing on Mikey!" LOL All in all she seems a smart pup whose very loving and trying hard to please. Oh and she can untie your shoelaces about as fast as you can tie them up...little smartie pants! LOL
Bought her a tons of chew toys and put all our shoes into a big box she can't reach into the other day as she's big into the chewing everything stage of puppyhood.

no it's not. it's the thing in the dogs eye that lets them see in the dark. my dog has green instead of blue. but the flash on the camera makes it shine so you can see it. i have a picture that makes my dog look like an alien, lol.
