Question Sexing my painted turtle? (DU Warning)

Hi everyone. I need some help trying to figure out if my turtle is a boy or girl. I also want to know what kind of subspecies it is if anyone knows. Here is a pic, it is not very good because it is off a 1.2 megapixel pda camera.

I changed 'em to links for you. Check the stickies in the Site Info forum for information on how to resize pictures. There's something in the FAQ section, as well as a couple stickies about how to post pictures that should have the info as well.

So it is a female? The belly doesnt curve in like a convex, but it seems more flat that concave.

Concave means "curving in"....Convex means "bulging out." I think you got them mixed up. And a quick google shows that Brad is right on the concave/male and convex/female.

Oh. O.K. I thought he meant My turtle had a Concave, And that male=convex,
so i thought he meant ti was a female.
