    Introducing....Gunnar!

This is our new puppy! We just brought Gunnar home today and Mikey is very proud to finally be 5 and big enough for a puppy in the house LOL. He's a bit nervous of her puppy antics but I'm sure he and all the rest of the kids will just love this little sweetheart. She's about 12 weeks old and a boxer/yellow lab cross. We adopted her from the Toledo Dog Warden's office.

Mike, Mikey and Gunnar who wants a kiss rather badly!

She's a lovely fawn color with a big white chest, 2 white socks on the front and a bit of white on the back paws and a bit of a darker mask...seems to take after the Boxer side a bit more than the Labrador, though she's already trying to retreive things for us and check out those Lab ears LOL.

    What a face!

Isn't that lil stub tail too dang cute!

So far she's had a nice drink of water, a bit of a nibble at her puppy kibble and a walk outside (which included a pee in the grass...go Gunnar go!). Can you tell we are thrilled.

    Re: Introducing....Gunnar!

Thanks everyone! We are taking her outside every hour or so and so far...three pee's in the grass and none in the house LOL. Other than the poor thing probably thinks her name is "NO Gunnar!" since that's what she's hearing a lot for the next little while till she learns her manners. Typical puppy days
