    Nature Coast Exotics

Just wondering if anyone has heard of these folks. Someone brought them to my attention and when I went to look I was rather concerned. The Blue Beauty on this page looks very underweight. The prices on some of the "cb" ball pythons don't make a lot of sense (and they don't seem to be sexed which is odd) $15.00 for cb's??? Finally the 9 ft burmese python is obviously a ball python.

    A 9 foot Ball?! Wow!

I did look them up on the BOI after I saw someone refer to the $15 BP. There are a couple of good guy posts on them, but I think you get what you pay for when it comes to their cheaper animals.

    Re: Nature Coast Exotics

Just wierd too that as far as I can see on their web page there's no mention of who actually owns this business. The BOI posts are all good guy though and only mention a first name....Chris. I'm not interested myself...just peeked my interest when I heard them mentioned and then saw this link. Price doesn't make sense to me and the other things I mention kinda made me blink.

I have actually bought a bunch of baby turtles from them. The prices are very cheap and all of the turtles are still doing great!! Its been about a year...I cannot comment on the other animals, but as for turtles and the way that they were shipped, I have no problem with them!!

    Re: Nature Coast Exotics

I think that they use CB to mean "Captive Born".... and not "Captive Bred".

A quote from one of the 05 CB females:

"This is a hand picked captive born 2005 Ball python."

    Re: Nature Coast Exotics

I wouldn't buy from them........I checked out their website, and It looks like it's mostly (WC from the looks of em') watersnakes, some of the snakes are misrepresented, and that blue beauty does look terribly thin. Plus, they can't spell garter snake right.

Yeah, I once did a rescue/realease thing for one of those guys that was found in a parking lot....realeased him back to the wild where he belonged, but needless to say, he looked a lot more "robust" than those did.....and do you see how cheap they're sellin em???

yup, i think that they are w/c and another weird thing is that if they breed any snakes ar all they dont have the adult breeders on the breeders page...
