    They grow up so fast!

So I went to go hold Seraph my Kenyan boa last night. Of course she was starrin' at me with her lil head pokin out of the dirt. I pick her up, and I just couldn't believe how much she has grown. She's getting some weight on her too. Isn't crazy how fast they grow? She's getting some nice definition in her back, and she's a joy to hold. I let my aunt hold her for awhile and even she said she can't believe how much she has grown.

Geesh I missed this thread. She sounds lovely Mike. I've never had the pleasure of holding or see a sand boa myself but from all reports they are a lovely snake to own.

    Okay now....where's the pics!!!!

Gimme like 2-3 days. Seraph is in shed, plus I feed her today. I gave her, her first fuzzy. She wolfed it down in no time! I talked to the store whom I bought her from. The guy who bought 3 from the same cluth said his are nasty lil buggers. Guess I got lucky

i love mine... what a sweetie to hold... and mine has grown like a weed! i just can't believe how big it is already and i haven't even had it all that long.

i find mine has a problem with it's face when it sheds, often retaining shed on it's face... does yours? i've started leaving the water dish on the UTH all the time just in case there's shedding going on before i notice.

Mine has only shed once, and it was a perfect shed. I use the coconut substrate. It hold moisture REALLY well, and I can keep it at 70% humidity, without dropping for like 2-3 days. I love how they try to burrow in your hands too. I agree, I can't believe how fast mine has grown. I picked her up today, and for only being a foot long, she has some weight to her. Nice and thick too!
