    Where to find a VBB?

I really would love to get one eventually, I think they are flat out gorgeous snakes.

However, I've looked and I haven't seen any for sale. I don't even know what sort of price range I'm looking at.

    Thanks.
I’m not gonna let them catch me, no
Not gonna let ’em catch the midnight rider.

Vietnamese Blue Beauty. It's a species of ratsnake. Medusa Owl posts pictures of hers pretty often if you want to do a search for pics.

I don't know of any breeders that would have something immediately, James, but I do know Medusa Owl is hoping to attempt breeding hers in the coming season...so maybe this time next year she'll have some babies for us to fight over?

Re: Where to find a VBB?

BHB sometimes carries them, but yeah VBB breeders are hard to find! I'm gonna have fun bringing new blood into my collection down the road But these are the snakes I'm hoping to specialize in, and far as I know I'm the only one with aims to focus *specifically* on VBBs as a breeder. Least so far as Google tells me.

Hatchlings typically run between $100 and $200, right now the norm being around $175 before shipping. It varies a lot. At least from what I've been able to find so far. Really hoping to produce some babies this year, so we'll see! I *adore* these guys, love em to bits! Check out the site in my sig for a care sheet and such.

    Hey Guys,
I have a friend down here in the south that is almost solely devoted to Eurasian Ratsnakes. Go check out his website, he should have some stuff available soon. Joe Serles at www.eurasianratsnakes.com . I love them too. I almost bought a pair of coxi's this year, but spent the money on another project, but I also love the cave dwellers and the rhino rats.

Oh, Ok, I'm with you now! (the V was what was confusing me )

They are hard to find! I've been keeping my eyes out for one since Sheree got hers. I actually found one in a skanky pet shop here in town, but dedided not to bring it home because I was afraid of what it might bring with it. They're such beautiful snakes, I don't understand why there aren't more available.

Wow, gorgeous pics on that site! Those radiated rats look awfully spunky, lol! And I love how mandarins look like they're wrapped in police tape. Beautiful snakes he's got there!

Joe is a eurasian rat nut. I really like his cave dwellers. I am thinking about getting a pair of those soon, but I also like the rhino rats, and would like a pair of those as well. Need more space.
