Corns found............you gotta hear it to believe it

Last night i was going about my normal cage cleaning and completely changed out the corns tanks. by the time i was dont they were spotless and there had been no sign of the corns for a full week. Well i had forgotten to putthe lids back down on the tubs and went to go do that with the thought of if they didnt show up i had 2 ready made tubs for any rescues that came by.

Here is where it got weird. I put the lid on the first tub and had to do a double check, because the snow corn has gone back into her tub and was there looking at me like nothing had happened like saying mom where is my dinner. so I just closed her tub and said ok........ that was weird that she just showed back up in her home.

well thinking that it might work for the amel I did the same thing and left the top off the tub and went back 20 minutes later and there he was the same as the snow. like nothing had happened.

Now I know there were no snakes in the tubs before I cleaned out the tubs and now there were.

Atleast they are back and happy and warm. Now i just have to find my male BRB.Hopefully the snakie gods are watching me now and will lead him home as well........lol

    regards,

How wierd! I know this sounds absolutely impossible but they couldn't have been in a crevice/lip of the lid could they? I've been amazed at where Emi can stuff her little self. She's not a corn but rather a milk but very similar in size and that little growing worm can get into the most amazing places and appear to have disappeared. Glad they are both back home safe and sound though. Crossing my fingers that the BRB will be found as well.

Rod Serling is standing JUST around the corner!!! Doo-do-do-doooo

Yaaaaaaay! Glad to hear you got your corns back. Good luck on finding the BRB! My fingers and toes are crossed that he shows up soon, too!

Kishnah, & CeCe are the squishiest critters. I don't know how Oreo does it either, but just yesterday I picked up the load of laundry and found her as I was rearranging the clothes in the washer before turning it on. Whew!!! I didn't even know she had escaped, because she doesn't poke her head out except at night, and since I work nights 3x4/week, I just check the water and humidities & then head to bed in the am.

We're lucky I found her before starting the durn machine!

But I'm sooooooooo happy for you finding your corns!
