I might be firin up the incubator after all this year....

I was takin some B+W pics (I loove B+W pics!) and went into Hermione's cage.....as I peered in there, it seemed she was laying in a "different" than normal position from what I could see fron the entrance of her hide....So, I began to take the lid off, and as I did, she started to roll back over...but not before I was able to take this shot.....

...could it be??? what do y'all think????

Did you feed her recently? I have a girl that sits like that each day after she eats.

Get her to stretch out...you would see a lump in her that looks like she ate a football.

Go to this page http://www.ballpythons.ca/gallery/breeding.html and scroll down a little ways too look at pic of building and ovulating female.

I have also noticed some of my snakes do that when they are getting ready to shed. Who knows, could be.

Re: I might be firin up the incubator after all this year....

Thanks guys......the thing is, I have never seen her rest in this position except for the times when she was gravid. I fired up the incubator just in case, and am keepin' a close eye on her. Also, she has refused to eat up until last week, since the end of Nov. and she still looks "plump". Shouldn't she have lost a lot of weight from not eating if she wasn't gravid??? Cross your fingers guys!!!

That is the exact pose my female was in a few weeks ago; it is a good sign.
