    Talking Shedding question

Today was my second shed with Kiwi and I thought it was a perfect shed (26" long skin). I later looked to be sure and her neck and head had retained shed. I soaked her in a bath a little and proceeded to slowly help her out of the old skin. It was a success and I wanted to thank everyone here that gave advice on previous posts. I also was wondering if it is often that you have to help them out a little? Just so you know I bumped up the humidity to 72% as soon as I saw her blueing.

Sometimes bad sheds just happen. No big deal. They are easily remedied! Congrats on your second shed. It sounds like you have things well in hand.

    Re: Shedding question

There's never a guarantee of a perfect shed. And some snakes just shed more easily, or have more troubles, than others. Just do the best you can with the humidity and help afterwards if you have to. Sounds like you did just fine.
