    he finally ate! (after regurge)

good news... valentino ate! i warmed his pinkie up really well and put it into his little feeding cup... placed it into his enclosure and he eagerly took it down.

keep you fingers crossed with me that he keeps this one down!!!

valentino is a bloodred corn who regurged apr 12th and this is the first pink he was willing to take since his regurge!!!

Re: he finally ate! (after regurge)

Good job!! glad to hear...i know how ya feel....I've had similar problems with two of my little ones, my little Percy had to be forcefed his first five meals..(ugh!)...when he finally strted eating on his own, he would regurg/spit out the prey if i interupted him swallowing a meal...even if it was just to peek!!! He eats ok by himself now, not nearly as sporadic, with no regurg. but I have to leave him alone now for at least an hour or so with a food item, otherwise he will refuse or spit it out. Poor little guy is over seven months old and still doesn't even weigh 150 grams!!!! I think he'll eventually reach a point where he'll be poundin' em' down and grow well for me. i think the key is persistance....

Oh crossing all my crossable stuff that Valentino keeps this meal down and better days are ahead for him as far as this issue of regurging. Let us know how it goes.
