    My new snake

Well, the grand total of snakes (not counting the foster snake or my mom's) is 25!

This little girl just caught my eye at the reptile swap today. She's incredibly docile and very lovely. These snakes color up with age, so she is relatively dull right now, but she was much brighter yellow than the other two JCPs that were there, and she has the crisp pattern that I like. I got her for a good price I think.. $116, everything I had! The guy said she's about to shed.. if so she must be in the last stages before shedding.. I hope she does, she'll be so pretty!

So.. this is her, baby female morelia spilota cheynei - Jungle carpet python. ..and the pics don't do her great justice.

    <--- Green with envy.

She looks great April! I hope I can see some beauties like that at the show I'll be attending next week...I may have to pick one up, I've always loved the look of carpets.

Feel free to post pics after she sheds.

Oh of course. People ask me 'are you getting any more?' I just smile at them.. of course! They are my love. I even enjoy cleaning all their cages.

JCPs are a good choice also. They tame down well and are pretty cool. I know someone whose JCP spends all day on top of the curtain rod hanging out.

I love both JCP and hoggies.. either one is a great choice. Just.. do you like yellow and black, or orange and pink?
