My new leo arrived today. I would like to thank Emily(mlededee) for letting me buy such a great little critter.

Me and Katie have named her Var. In Norse mythology, Var is the goddess of contracts and marriage agreements, one of the principal goddesses. She listens to the vows and compacts made by men and woman with each other (those agreements were called varar). She takes vengeance on those who break their vows.

She is a Super Hypo Tangerine. Ha...I am still trying to figure out leo morphs....but as far as I know it is a selectively bred trait.

ya, super hypo tangerine is pretty much a selectively bred trait--leo genetics can be confuggling.

On a totally off topic note, I've gotta get this off my chest ...

... everytime I see a post by "Blu Mongoose" for some reason the only thing I can think of is Bud Fox saying "Blue Horse Shoe Loves Anacot Steel" ... call me crazy, but that's me. Sorry about that.
