Re: As requested....more LR pics.....
very nice! as hatchlings they tend to freak me out because they have those huge bulby eyes, but they are quite beautiful once they grow out of the twiggy hatchling stage where their entire head consists only of 2 eyes and a mouth.

Ohhhh something else to add to the Herps I Want to Own Someday. They are simply stunning and the enclosure setup really shows them off. Where in the world did you find that igloo/snowman thing anyways?

Re: As requested....more LR pics.....
Btw, for those of you who hate the bulby-eyed thing, mine NEVER had it......It's a genetic defect that is inherited with the leucistic trait in Texas rat snakes. Some have it, some don't, but the bug-eye trait (that's what they call it) is seen all too often. A lot of delaers will charge you more for babies that don't have this trait. When I got mine, I got them as babies, and I had to shop around quite a bit to find a pair without bug-eyes. I used to have a trio, but I lost the third one..."Frost" was her name...

Re: As requested....more LR pics.....
that's very interesting. i think every hatchling i've ever seen had the bug-eyed trait. good to know that i when i do get one it doesn't have to look like that.
