    another animal plastics question

Say I wanna buy an animal plastics t-3,
    which option is best...
    the single light hole?
what would i do for belly heat....
the warning on the heat mats read "not for plastic" and stuff like that.
still not sure how the whole flex watt works....
would i be able to use that?

how about i go and buy a plastic storage container...
how do i get belly heat for that.....
    flex watt only?

send me your ideas and maybe fill me in on how you have your plastic set ups...
    Thanks

When I bought my T3, i got the dual holes on top with the inserts included (so you can cover them if you choose).

Belly heat works great on those cages. It is routered into the bottom left of the cage and can be accurately controlled with an on/off thermostat, a proportional stat would be even better, but not critical.

Flexwatt would not be practical for use with that cage.

If you got a plastic storage container like a sterilite 1960 or Iris 900, you could run a piece of 3" flexwatt underneath one end of the tub and control it with a thermostat. This is the most utilitarian way to set up a ball python. Doesn't look at nice, but works for a fraction of the cost of an AP cage.
