    Please help

    damen ate for me again this is the 3rd time now... yeah but the dam mouse bit him no blood but you can see where he bit him.... what do i do ? he is also having a little trouble getting this one down did i do something wrong? please any suggestions would be greally aprieciated

    i personally would make an appt with the vet. hopefully some more experienced people will chime in on this.

    p.s. and maybe try some of that wound healer you can get at petco or petsmart, maybe there will be some comments on this.

    well there was no blood but you can see the punture and there was just a drop of puss from what it looked like to me is this a problem ? also i have called petco cause thats where i got damen, they said to put neosporen on it and to keep an eye out... that was pretty much it but am going to get the wound healer... damen wont die or anything will he?

    he definantley shouldnt die unless he gets an infection. if it starts getting worse looking then its time for a vet visit.

    My thoughts... Instead of feeding the larger sized mice/rats I am going to stick with the rat "hoppers" forever and just feed more in quantity. The reason being... why take the chance of having them bite the snake. I will just feed two hoppers instead of a small/medium rat. But that is just my two cents. Also, think of prekilled f/t. As for the bite, keep an eye out... an overprotective mommy/daddy would to to the vet, which is a good thing! But you can also wait... then again you did say you saw puss... not good.

    No big deal if it didn't break the skin. One shed will fix the problem for sure. If you really still feel uncertain, applying a small amount of triple-antibiotic ointment couldn't hurt.
