Honestly the last picture was my favorite, such a neat shot of her pattern, and well...her looking bashful!

Later in the day, she was hanging part way out of her hide and draped over the edge of the water bowl taking a drink. First time I've ever seen a snake drinking. (Caesar is way too shy!) I crept up to the cage to watch her and she stopped and watched me back. LOL....then my 3 year old notices and goes "Oh, snake!!" and charges up to the glass. Needless to say, Kisasa darted back into her hide faster than Nathaniel could say "snake" again! Oh well!

Aren't small kids and snakes hilarious! I was babysitting a little 2 year old yesterday and he kept pointing at Rauri the big BCI in his viv and saying "ooohhhh big shake (not a typo...how he said it)" then he go "grrrrrrrr monster shake" omg too funny! Then Mikey being the big almost 5 year old, seen it all done it all, used to snake kid kind of rolled his eyes and muttered "it's NOT a monster, it's a NICE snake".


I nearly fell over laughing!
