    incubator is ALIVE!

I finally finished up my incubator in hopes of some eggs soon. I used a small fridge, some 11" flexwatt, wild techno cooling fan and Helix. Works like a champ and was fun to put together. Thank you all for the great ideas! Now if my females will just stop screwing around and lay already!

    cassandra, coming soon. I hope

4theSNAKElady, yeah....something about being a girl might have helped! I have often wondered how much cool stuff I could trick boys out of if I where a girl

    Re: incubator is ALIVE!

Thanks vaughn! I am super excited for my first clutch....any day now. Here is a poopy picture of the door closed. No real good light in the room, sorry for the flash. I hated the 80s style fake wood look but it's starting to grow on me..lol!

    Re: incubator is ALIVE!

thanks cassandra I used plexi with an outer skin and an inner skin to form an insulating barrier. I hope this will keep me from opening the door all the time to look at the eggs

    Re: incubator is ALIVE!

Actually, cueball, I din't trick ANY boy out of anything, nor would i EVER try.....It's just not my style... It was from a friend of mine who dated a guy (whom I was both roommates with) The guy ended up leaving my friend for his ex, and he moved far away to another state leaving some of his things (including a few snakes) behind. He would not come pick it up so, what was she to do??!!! Anyways, i just wish i could have gotten a few of those 4' and 6' custom made melamine and glass front custom cages he left too, but she sold those.......
