I am hoping this little ones yellow/orangey color along its back and side stay bright as it is now, or get better! This one really did not seem to mind being handled the bit I did for pics either. I am so in love with my cresties.

i look at the under sides and chins. and see if they are any color tones or shades there. alot of times the red ones will be pinkish/red the orange ones will be orangish, etc. not a rule, just something i look at.

I just went and looked... its belly, chin and neck area are a lighter shade of the color it has on its back and sides and feet (the yellow/orangey color).

OK im wondering if you all handle your cresties much at all? And if you would show some pics of your setups i have my guy in a 20L tank and he is happy in that but im looking to get a female and wondering if there is a better way than getting another 20L for her? Thanks Aaron
