We like to mess around with Zeus, it breaks the boredom around here. We thought this was hilarious, but somehow, I dont think he did! LOL

    Re: .99 cent Roo!

I love German Shepherds! There really is no better dog IMO

Zeus looks great, even with his rock bottom bargain value lol.

I used to have a female German Shepherd called Elsa. Unfortunately I had to find her a new home when I moved from England to the states. I really couldn't bear putting her through quarentine, and also she was a long hair, and bringing her from England to the edge of the desert in California would have been rought for her. I did find her a great home though with a friend so it wasn't too bad. He lived directly opposite a park, and even took her sofa with her! (I had a ratty old sofa that was Elsa's, it was in, well a rough state... he threw out his nice sofa so he would have room for her nasty one)

Here's a picture of Elsa on her Sofa...

She was a great pet, I have so many stories about her (she was a retired police dog).

Oh Rick, Elsa is pretty! Too bad you had to re-home her!

I know it was hard for Rick to leave her in England, but she got a great home...

I've promised Rick we'll get him a dog when we get a bigger place. =)

Beautiful dogs. I want one someday actually; they're really the only breed my boyfriend likes, and I would have an easy time convincing him

Great pictures! My parents had two German Shepherds when I was young. I have some fond memories of them (and some not so fond, one of them liked to bite and I was an annoying, hyper little boy).

Awww Rick she's a beauty and also served her community...how wonderful! I'm glad you found her a lovely home to retire to, though I'm sure it must have been hard for you to have to let her go.

I grew up around two very large, very pure white male GSD's. Wonderful boys and much more trustworthy than the very small, very snappy little female daschund that lived in the house too. Other than they didn't much like other adult male dogs (they were both intact males) they were lovely dogs and totally trustworthy with small children and animals they knew well. I'll have to see if I can dig up a photo of either of them as they have long since gone to their well deserved rest.
