Oh if you can Jeanne can you post a pic of her like that too please. I'm fascinated by their color changes. Is it always related to their mood or do other things cause them to do that?
Yeah the reds are most definately my favorite too! Eventually, I think I may look for a really nice red male for her instead of Spidey, Spidey is very nice, but I would rather have her with a really nice red male.
Side note...the last week or so, both Spidey and Fiona have been doing the deed an aweful lot, so maybe I will get eggs soon. SO I will most likely have to wait till next "season" I guess to put her with a red male... but it would be interesting to see what babies Spidey and Fiona produce.

She is much better colored in this pic...I have more, got to find them! She looks pretty orangey-redish in this one, but she is really not. I just got to find the other pics with her being really red... LOL

oh yeah, better put in a lay box soon! you can switch males during the season, just be aware that next few clutches after you put in a new male will most likely still be fathered by the first male because the females retain sperm. i switched males with one of my females and it did take a few months but the last several clutches from here were definitely fathered by the second male (as is evident in their colors/pattern as compared to the first).

There is a lay box in there now, has been for a few months.
How much bigger realistically would she have to be for me to even think about putting her with Casanova rather than Spidey? Did not realise I could switch males like that.... hmmm. and the brain is contemplating the possibilities...
