    Squeeze Force

Im watching a show on andacondas and they fitted a squeeze force monitor on a duck and let the andaconda go at it. They measured it a 90lbs per square inch. The equivalient of a school bus on your chest.

It was on Super Snake last night. They didn't say how big she was. I'd guess 20 foot, maybe more.

    Re: Squeeze Force

I saw the same program and was going to post about this as well. Assuming it was the same snake they showed being captured earlier, it was like 22 ft.

    Re: Squeeze Force

Was I the only one who wondered how they planned to get the measuring device off the duck before the anaconda ate it?

    Re: Squeeze Force

We wondered about that too Robin but I'm assuming they had figured a way to retract the device at some point. It was an amazing show but then most National Geographic ones are. Now if I can only get the dang VCR to tape it next time it's on. I may just order a copy of the show on DVD and be done with it. I did like how they examined the internet pictures and tried to authenticate or debunk them.
