    Six-lined Racerunner pics...

    I found this little one (ha...about 8" total length) was running around...quick little guy....here are some pics....a very beautiful lizard...i wish he had not run under a log and gotten dirty...

    Thanks Judy....I am not the greatest a finding reptiles either...most I just stumble across....if you spend enough time outside flipping over rocks, looking though leaves, etc....you will find something.

    I have one goal for this summer. I want to see if I can find a Texas Horned Lizard in Northwestern Louisiana....I have talked to some older people from the area that said they used to see them when they were kids and in most books their range covers Northwestern Louisiana....but ever since the harvester ant population has declined due to invasive species, no one really sees them anymore....
