Good morph combos?
I am building a collection and looking to the future on combinations I can make from an initial group of morphs.
I plan on getting
1 male spider
1 male pastel
1 male albino
but I am stuck on what to get for the fourth... I know pastel and spider was an easy choice for starters as they are dom/co-dom and I can make, spider, pastel, super pastel, bumblebee, killerbee.
I chose albino as the third because I really like albinos, and i like the idea of albino spiders, though I realize how much work it will be to make those.
I am stuck on what to get for my fourth. I would prefer another dominant or co-dominant choice that is somewhat affordable, and that would make interesting combinations with the other 3 morphs. (of course this would be down the line a little ways).
I know cinnamons + pastel can make a pewter pastel, and I know that I can work on making a super mojave.... but out of the two choices, mojave or cinnamon, which one would go best when trying to mix with the above 3 morphs?
Thanks for any information

Re: Good morph combos?
Kingpins are out of this world.....so is the lesser bee and queen bee.....so lesser would be my first choise....kingpin the second.
If you are not looking to drop that much cash, I would go with either hypos or cinny pastels. With hypos and the three you have listed..you could produce honeybees, hypo pastels, and super hypo pastels. With cinnies, you could go for a pewter, sterling pastel, and silver bullet.

As Adam is fond of saying....choose the one you really love and work with that. And if there are 2 or 3 or more that you just love, that you have to choose from...then among those, choose what you can afford to start on, and build toward the more expensive ones.

Did a few searches and cant find any images of a kingpin. Is there some site that lists all of these together?

What would a pewter x spider look like I wonder.

I'd second Vaughn's suggestion, those snakes are stunning and something my husband dreams of owning one day. Also, a really nice hypo male is something to be considered. Not only are they good looking but they are interesting when crossed into other morphs....like for instance the Hypo Mojave which for me anyways, is just drop dead WOW!

I second this opinion! I think Hypos are making a huge comeback, and will be one of the most popular simple recessives in the near future for the crossing potential.... And while most here don't agree (from prior poll) Axanthic is also a great crossing morph. The Axanthic Pastels are eye popping wow!
