Holding breath?

Does anyone know how long columbian boa's can hold their breath because i saw this way underfed (same girth size as neck, or water just made it look that way) totally submersed in his water dish, almost looked like he died in their

If you think he might be dead, reach in and yank him out! lol. They can hold their breath for a long time...not sure just how long though.
