    What kind of soil?

I wonderered if there are any UKers here that keep monitors and what soil you buy for them? Or is any other substrate acceptable? (i.e. hemp bedding).

We don't have much of a garden so I can't just dig up enough soil from there. I know I have to be careful what soil I put in - any brand names or whatever would be great to make sure I get the right stuff.

    Re: What kind of soil?

Just realized that though I went to the link I never thanked you for it!! So here it is - thank you thank you thank you!! It is a really good site with quite a bit of other information too.

I've now got him on soil in an extra large box at one side of his viv but he doesn't seem to dig that much ... but he likes to run in it and jump down for it - all good exercise for his little fat belly
