    Re: Pastel Question

Lines ... yes (Lemon, Blonde, Graziani, Bell, etc) ... they are all compatible.

"Black pastels" and "Cinnamon Pastels" are something different.

    Re: Pastel Question

ummm, no...not pastelxpastel. Heck if that was the case, a male would NOT cost $800 - $1000. There are pastel hets for ????. That is possible like an Albino Pastel or Pastel Albino.

super pastel is the dominant product...

Take a look at Graziani's site... He's made all kind of pastel crosses.

Pastel x Pastel = Super Pastel
Pastel x Cinnamon Pastel = Pewter
Cinnamon x Pewter = Silver Bullet (Actually Super Cinny/Pastel Jungle)
Super Pastel x Cinnamon Pastel = Silver Streak

    It's mind boggling

The cool thing about tripple co-doms is that you can breed them to a normal and get three different visable morphs in one clutch (assuming your clutch is big enough of course).

You can say that again! No wonder someone is producing a new morph every year. Think of the possibilities.

    Re: Pastel Question

Cinnamon Pastels and Black Pastels were believed to be the same(similar) mutations but last year Mark Mandic produced what he calls a Sterling Pastel (Super pastel cinnamon pastel) and Outback reptiles produced the Silver Streak (Super pastel black pastel). From the pictures below you can clearly see that they are different. Also, pewters produced from a black pastel x pastel breeding look different than pewters from a cinny pastel x pastel breeding. Only heaven knows what is going on with these critters I have not heard of a cinny x black breeding yet to see if a super is produced, and maybe either the sterling pastel or silver streak were sometype of fluke.....we should find out for sure this year though
