current photos of our tanks (dial up warning)

well i took some photos today... so thought i'd share the updated photos of our tanks since the ones i shared before we a year old

so here we go this first one is our 210. the plants are doing really well. i would like something to grow other than valecinaria though... hey, one CAN dream!



this is our 135. it's in the entrance way of our home. i'm leaning against the front door taking this shot. it's our bismarck frontosa tank... ah they are beauties!



this is our brand new salt tank. we just set it up this weekend!



our newly renovated 77 gallon. we had to move all the cichlids around to clear out the 90 for salt... and i love the way this one turned out. it's in my kitchen/office area and this view is from the middle of the kitchen.



this is my oscar tank. 46 gallon. eventually he'll need a larger tank... but he's doing great right now. this tank is in our bedroom.



this little 33 is our crayfish tank. i have a new oscar in here growing up before she joins felix (her name is chloe) - this is where we grow up the p. alleni crays when we breed one of these two females to our male (who lives downstairs)



so that's it... i didn't take any photos of the other tanks in the house. just some little tanks... 29 - right down to 5 gallon tanks... as these are the main tanks for the house. (and the ones i take care of)

Wow....I don't know how you keep up with all that, or find space for them all! But they're beautiful!!

They look great, and a lot of work! I love them, just don't have the patience myself for the maintenance!

it's not really all that much work. you get into a routine and kinda like with your snakes... you just do it

i really love my tanks - they bring so much peace and serenity into our home.

Ahhh, admittedly, I didn't really know what I was doing. Mine seemed to need a lot of maintenance to keep it clean. I find my balls much easier to maintain! (wait, that didn't sound quite right! LOL)

i had a professional come in today and rearrange my salt tank. i didn't like the way the live rock was set up... well he's amazing. he arrived at 11am and at 3pm he was done... and WOW does it ever look GREAT!!!

i didn't want to post a pic as i left it big so you could see his handywork... so... without further adieu...

Very nice! I really like the aquascaping, did he use fiberglass rods to hold the rock together?

nope. he used patience. he places each rock in a way that it doesn't fall. he's a master at this... he doesn't use anything, no tie straps, no glue no nothing.

he's in high demand... and i knew that even before today... but now i know it from sitting across the room and watching... it was AMAZING to watch. as he fiddled with one rock for over 30 minutes until he was able to get it to sit juuuuuust right.

Well I wish your rock the best because it does look great. I've had too many rock slides from settling to be comfortable enought to just use the stacking method.

Wow, very nice setups! Beautiful! Fish are very peaceful and serene to have around, and Oscars have such personality. WAY more high maintenance than reptiles tho I think, so I'm with the rest in being impressed with your keeping up with them all!
