    Noob questions

I've been keeping Ball Pythons for about a year, and I have ambitions to breed the species eventually. I checked out some links on the subject, but are there any books that specialize in breeding?

Would it be worth it to find a breeder here in NJ and offer myself as an apprentice?

That'd be a great place to start!

    Re: Noob questions

Well, since Kara from NERD is a member here that helps out a lot, the first resource that comes to my mind is ...

"The Complete Ball Python" By Kevin McCurley from NERD!

    http://www.newenglandreptile.com/book.html

The book has a ton of excellent breeding information and is an awesome resource for anyone that is interested in ball pythons at any level (and I actually own a copy BTW so I can recommend it with confidence!).

    Hope this helps.
