Future Breeding Plans (Again)
On a recent phone call, discussing plans for the future, it was brought to my attention that I had nothing planned for one of my girls.
When that was brought up, I was asked, and asked myself, ok... so what AM I gonna do?
So here's the plan/plans...
At the time of breeding, I will have:
1.0 Hypo/Ghost
1.0 Albino
1.1 Axanthic
1.0 VPI Pastel Jungle
1.0 Spider
1.0 Pied
0.2 VPI Pastel Jungle 50% Het Hypo
1.1 Lemon Pastel
2.1 Het Albino
0.1 Het Axanthic
1.1 Het Pied
0.1 Het Caramel
0.1 Het Hypo
1.10 Normal
So, here's the question: (you knew there was gonna be one, if you kept reading long enough... RIGHT?? )
What should I do with the het caramel girl? I don't exactly have anything currently, or planned, to put with her. I could put something co-dom with her, or mix her to create poss DH's... or I could just bite the bullet and get a het caramel male or a caramel male to go with her. How about a caramel het hypo male to go with her? That would put caramel glows 3 years away from breeding.
The suggestion given to me by a very respected person, was possibly a spider with her. What other suggestions do you all have?

Re: Future Breeding Plans (Again)
Hmmmmmmmmmmm....... It would take longer to prove everything out, but I would be willing (if it were me) to work for years trying to produce a Caramel-Pied!
yummy!

Re: Future Breeding Plans (Again)
I would put her with the ghost male or pied male. Double Recessives are freakin awesome.....and you do not see nearly as many of those as double codom or codom/recessive combos.
And of course, putting her with a pastel would be a second choice I think the caramel pastel is one of the hottest things out there.

I don't believe I've ever seen a caramel pastel. Do you know where I might see a picture of one?
