Re: i love red!
Very nice! I love the reds and the dalmations. (they're my favorites) He's an awesome little guy. Those stripes down the back of the legs are very nice too. They almost glow.

Oh what color! Now is it a coincidence he's called Clifford or were you thinking Clifford the Big Red Dog (or do I just need to stop watching some many dang kiddie shows LOL).

So how many of your babies have you held back? I don't know how you let them go. It's gotta be hard.
Ohhh i remeber that now! I saw that. That was cute! Yes I am a dork.
Emily, those are some really pretty cresties you have, all of them. Clifford is just amazing! Maybe sometime down the road if you come up with another male like that, I can buy him. hint hint... Seriously though, I dont know how you choose what to keep? They are all great. You know, I have already figured out that if you put me in front of tons of babies, I would never ever be able to pick just one..they are all so different, have not seen one that looks exactly like another. And they are ALL gorgeous! I have not quite decided what ones are my favorite... well, other than the reds...
How do you choose which to keep and which to sell?

well, clifford is my only absolute holdback right now from the babies that i've hatched myself... but there are 5 that i am holding for now to see how they turn out or if they are male or female. those numbers are about to seriously increase though because my incubator is full of eggs and i have several girls who are laying steadily now. starting in february it's gonna be serious baby time!

i'll definitely keep you in mind if i get any more nice red males.
i decide what to keep by determining what i need and how it will fit into my breeding program. for instance, i need a nice red male to go with my red females, but if i get another red male i won't need it so that one i would sell. i'm trying to be realistic and not keep everything but it is hard. basically if i can't fit a gecko into the breeding goals that i have right now then i sell it.
