'I can't believe I ate the whole thing'

This is Chantilly, she's my mom's snow corn snake.

I.. uh.. accidentally gave her the anaconda's rat fuzzy instead of her mouse hopper. Doh!

I realized after she had a hold of the darn thing, and she wouldn't give it up for anything.. so, I let her eat it.

Bodacious (who got cheated out of HIS rat fuzzy) was not pleased.

I did the same thing to my Lav. corn last week and she is already ready to eat again. If only all snakes were that willing to feed all the time.

Chantilly prefers whatever food you care to present to her.

however.. my female roughscale sand boa will only eat mice (NO RATS), frozen thawed (NO LIVE) in a paper bag left overnight (NOT IN THE CAGE!)

    Talk about picky!

Re: 'I can't believe I ate the whole thing'

Well it took five months after I got her to get her to eat anything. Now, thankfully, she eats every week, as long as I follow her strict protocols!

That is a pretty strict protocol.

Chantilly is a really nice snake too. I almost bought a corn snake instead of my bp, but decided on the bp anyway. I haven't even had my bp for 2 weeks yet, but I have no regrets. =)

She's a really pretty thing I do hope Bodacious got a nice meal in the end

I fed Emily her 2 large mice last night and I swear she still wanted more - I put my hand back in the viv (the other end! LOL! and something I don't normally do) to shift her cool hide a bit and she was giving it that "attack mode" look all the way from the other side - I swear if I'd left my hand in there too long she would've gone for it. Should I have defrosted her another one ?

I still think Chantilly is one of the cutest names I've heard for a snow corn Wow! Now that's one full belly!
