    Sick Beardie

I was just wondering if anyone here has ever seen this. This morning I looked into my beardies cage and she was laying down on a log which had a small wet spot on in so I picked her up to look at her and she was had a dry yellow substance comming from her mouth I am taking her to the vet on Tues. but was just wanted to know if anyone has ever seen this before and knows what is wrong.

    Can ya get pics?

If it is bad as it sounds to be, I would get your beardie to the vet sooner, stuff coming out of its mouth like that dont sound good at all.

I agree, it may be an abcess that has ruptured from internal means. But whatever it may be a vet trip is definatley in order. Hope she does ok, and let us know please.

    Re: Sick Beardie

Well I took her to the vet today and he did a complete physical and internal evaluation and believes it might be a slighy respirtory infection. He was taken back by how well taken care of she is to have a res. infection but that is all he could narrow it down to. so 14 days of antibiotic and then another visit to make sure. thanks for your concern.
