    New Sheds! (DU warning!)

Finally my unsexed N. chromatus sling shed. So did my female but that was a bit ago ...plus I finally got the proper lighting to get the red color she sports around in these pics What do you think?

What a cute little N Chromatus! Mine is due to molt again soon.

Do you know how to sex them from a molt? I don't know how to sex them anyway.. and I'm curious about mine.

Look for a flap between the booklungs ion the inside of a molt. If there isn't a flap, you have a male. I don't have a good picture of any of the tarnantula molts that I have to illustrate. Here's a link to a site that has some detailed information.

There is another method, called ventral sexing, but it's more difficult and takes some practice to get the hang off. Here's a link to an article about ventral sexing by Rick West.

Yes it is. Only thing that sucks is when she's due for a shed she looks an ugly reddish brown
