    Unhappy return the snake??

I recently bought two corn snakes from a local pet store. After 4 days of having them home and into their separate cages I fed them f/t pinkies. I went to check up on them yesterday and noticed that in one of the cages was a regurge. So far the other corn is fine. My question is this...should I return the snake before the 15 day warranty expires. I know stress, temps and parasites can cause regurge. Temps were alright. We did have some problems that created a draft and I've moved the setup. I just don't want to buy a unhealthy snake and pay the consequences. I don't want to seem uncaring and just return the snake if there is a problem. I am in this for the long haul, I just have not read positvie things on regure. I am taking the rest of my snakes in to the vet next week. Any suggestions?

    Re: return the snake??

I think that feeding them after only being in their new homes for four days was a bit pre-mature. I've always understood that you want to wait around 2 weeks before handling or feeding a new snake. Maybe your new pets would have been more settled in after that much time, and the regurge wouldn't have happened.

    Re: return the snake??

I understand that with Ball Pythons that is true. I did with mine. However, I was using research based on Kathy Love. Right from her care sheet.

"first three days. Just give me a quiet little home with a hide box, water bowl, and the correct temperatures (low end – around 75 – 80 degrees F; high end – low to mid 80sF. The shavings in my shipping cup are from my old home; please put them in my new hide box to make me feel more secure. After three days, you can give me a VERY SMALL meal"

I appreciate the comments I just wanted you to know that I try to research about things before I do them.

PS. Is it your planning time

I am in the middle of my 5th grade health class...this forum will be the death of my career.
