BP hasn't pooped in 5 months

My ball python last pooped mid-November, ate two rats afterwards (one every 30 days), then went on a hunger strike before he finally ate again a month ago. I just tried to feed him again but he refused. So he's got 3 rats in him total. I've felt his belly up and down multiple times but it all feels soft, and I haven't noticed any changes in his behavior. I took him to the vet a little over two months ago for a routine checkup, and they didn't mention anything concerning besides mildly pale gums. At what point do I take him back in to see if something's wrong? I know that snakes are very efficient in digesting their food, so having only eaten 3 rats since his last poop is it possible that he just doesn't need to go yet even if it's been such a long time?

Re: BP hasn't pooped in 5 months

BP's can go a long time between waste, especially if they are not eating/fasting.

What weight and age is your BP and what size meals were you feeding?

What are your temps, are continuing to give fresh water, and has your BP peed?

Probably just a brumating BP in the winter, but temps need to be conducive to digestion and waste production.

I don't know his exact age but he's at least 10. He eats small/medium rats (70-89g), and weighs 1600g. Temps are 77-90, and I frequently change his water. It's been a long time since he last peed but I'm pretty sure he's peed at least once in the past 5 months. I did see him take a big drink after his last meal. I'm hoping he's just brumating as well but was starting to get worried since he's never gone more than 3 months without pooping.

Mines have entered the hunger strike and has been awhile since they’ve peed (4months). Only just recently did I noticed they all peed. Fingers crossed they’re going to eat some time next month. Overall they can go sometime without water but they will drink if need to. I pour fresh water every week. Don’t stress lol it’s easier said than done, I know.
