Time of day your BPs usually lay their clutches
Probably a crazy question, but has anyone noticed if ball pythons tend to lay their eggs around a certain time of day? Morning, afternoons, evenings, middle of the night, early morning etc?

Greetings!
I normally check my ball pythons at 8PM at night, and 6AM the next morning. At 8PM there are usually no news eggs. At 6AM they are either done laying for the night, or there are one or two more eggs on the way.
I'm not saying I haven't seen a clutch laid during the daylight hours (it happens)...I'm just saying that in my collection: it is the exception.
Whether or not it is relevant: I also have an ambient night drop of 3 degrees F (which I start in May...as I raise the day-time temp. to a steady 85F).

Oddly enough most off my Snakes lay their eggs between 2AM and 6AM. I go to bed late and check all my expecting breeder moms before I rest my neck for the night. I will then Check again before work. 97% of the time that’s when I will find the freshly hatched eggs. I remember once or twice I have found they laid later in the morning.
