    crestie photos & intelegence

    Hi
I was wondering if you could put up pictures of your Crested Geckos and also does anyone have any tales of Crestie intellegence? I am not trying to say their dumb, I just thought it would be interesting. Also can you get Salmonella from Cresties and, if yes, how common is it? Thanks for reading.

I don't think I have any stories. He's smart enough to hunt.. not drown in his water dish, run and jump around, and lick his eyes.

You can get salmonella from any reptile. Salmonella comes from the poop, so you are more likely to get it from a turtle or other aquatic because they swim in their poo (nice huh).

Wash your hands after handling your gecko and there's nothing to worry about. I have 27 herps in my house and no one has had salmonella.

I don't know how old mine is. I've had him several months, but he is not full grown yet.

Mle, what do you call the color of that third one down? It is GORGEOUS. I suppose I should get a couple of girls for my lonely boy.
