    Bronze jumper and habitat

This is our Bronze Jumper (Eris militaris) Shelob, and her home. We have had her about a month or so in a smaller enclosure, but I decided to build her a new one with plenty of charm (for my benefit) and climbing/hiding spots (for her benefit). I opted not to go with bioactive in order to make sure we didn’t have moisture issues. She’s such a cutie.

    Re: Bronze jumper and habitat

I spent a week meticulously planning her enclosure, layout, ventilation, etc… and the second I put that little stinker in there she found the most obscure hidey hole in the very back of her setup. We couldn’t locate her, and then I peeked under a piece of her foam and saw a little eyeball peeking out at me.

so. We will basically never see her again. Lol.
