    Tiny figurines advice

I'm starting a themed tank for my lovely snake Arloe, I want to go princess mononoke or studio gibli in general, I have these cute clay figures I want to put in there but and not sure if they are dangerous for him they are about the size of my thumb can someone tell me if it is a good idea or is there the possibility of him eating them for fun

That doesn't sound like a good idea, for several reasons: they're fragile (likely to break & be a hazard to the snake) & clay also absorbs moisture (humidity). Worse yet, all their tiny crevices are going to be very hard to clean- snakes in captivity often can't avoid sliding thru their feces, & then they re-deposit small amounts of contamination on other furnishings- & when they're not kept clean enough, your snake will be more at risk to get sick or get infections. I'd find a way to display them near but not IN the tank. I don't think your snake would try to eat them UNLESS they got some rodent scent on them, then all bets are off. But you'd have to glue them in place & it just won't end well for the figurines or the snake, sorry. Bottom line, it would be a nightmare to clean.
