    Once you've seen AND smelled a spoiled re-frozen rodent, it gets much easier to recognize them- they have a distinctive look & feel, & like I said, when you thaw them to serve, they tend to fall apart. Some have described the stomach area as having exploded once the rodent was heated or when their snake grabbed it- that's because spoilage causes gases to build up too, & the skin is fragile (the hair often falls off the stomach) & one way or another, they literally "fall apart"... Trust me, you'll know, gag. And with "rebranding/repackaging them", there's no way to know how OLD those rodents are. It's best to use them within a year or so, though even 2 years is probably fine, IF they were never thawed/refrozen, AND kept well-sealed at proper freezer temperature. (0* F.)
