    I know I'm late to the party and awesome that your snake shed but if you are using coconut husk, you could get some sphagnum moss, add a decent amount of moisture to it, then mix that into your original substrate. For me who also has to deal with moisture being dried out, this has worked to maintain my humidity at perfect levels for a long amount of time. I basically just add more moisture to my substrate once a month. I don't mist, I just add water like I'm watering a plant.
