    Best smart thermostat?

I need recommendations for a smart thermostat for my BP enclosure.

We went out of town for the weekend while some landscaping work was being done in our yard (several tree removals and concrete work). I have no idea what exactly happened but when we came home last night, the enclosure was freezing (I didn't even look at the temperature to see how low it was), and our BP was unconscious with her head submerged in her water bowl. Her heat emitter was switched on, and appeared to be plugged in, but I gave the power cord a good push and the heat emitter came back on, so I think something must have caused the house to shake enough for the cord to get wiggled out.

We got her warmed up and took her to the vet to be checked out, she's being treated for a GI infection as well as prevention for pneumonia (her lungs looked good on the x-ray so far). I want to make sure this never happens again, so I want to get a smart thermostat so that if I'm away again, I'll know right away if there's an issue and I can have someone come by and fix it before there's a serious problem.

I don't have a recommendation for you, but I wanted to send my best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I have the non-smart Herpstat from Spyder electronics and really love it - they make a wifi enabled version called I think the SpyderWeb that can be viewed remotely and automatically notify you if something goes wrong.
Also hoping for an easy recovery for your snake
