Just curious about one of my BPs

    Hey All,
I have a male banana cinnamon butter ball python. While I do know that animals vary in color depending on the morphs, and some do change color as they age or fade out. I am just curious about this guy. Everytime I see a bananas cinny butter in person, they look considerably darker than our guy. Was just wondering if people with more experience have anything to say about him. I will add a recent picture taken of him. This is my first photo I got of him after a year of owning him. He is very fear aggressive. He tries to tag us constantly. Been gradually working with him, with trying not to stress him out in the process. Thanks in advance to anyone who has an opinion on this guy. His name is Perdue, after the chicken company, cuz he is a big chicken. Lol!!!

"Perdue"? Love it- he's handsome, that's all I know.

I bought him with intentions of breeding him toy Pastel Butter Yellowbelly female. He is so fearful (getting better with time), that I wasn't sure if he was going to get the job done or not. Would be my first attempt at breeding. Snakes that is, I bred parakeets for years and leopard geckos. When I was young Siberian hamsters. But never took a shot at snakes. Been collecting a breeding stock and raising them up. He, and my butter female are my oldest at, turning three years old this year. Her in oct, him in Dec.

Re: Just curious about one of my BPs

Oh I did want to state to the more experienced people with morphs, that I do understand that you never know what is floating in the genes of these guys. Also have to say I have no information on his lineage. I got him from a breeder who has a pretty large volume of animals. So who knows what could be floating around. I also wanted to state that I trust the breeders opinion too. But he just looks a little different than the others I have seen online or in person.
