Family of Atrox in cute timelapse

A homeowner set up a little ramp and convenient rock step for this rattlesnake family. My heart melted when the little one climbs up on top of the adult for a nap - it's strange seeing snakes hanging out together in a family unit but very cute.

Rattlesnakes apparently do hang with "family" members in the wild- "ASP" has been documenting this for some time now. There's much more going on with snakes than most people realize, since they're so secretive, & also hysterically hated by so many. But not me- I miss keeping rattlesnakes- I did for some 20 years, & they do have personality- you get a sense of that in this video too.
