I don't have Facebook so this is a treat.

FB has a purpose but for snake related topics, I prefer a place like this.

    Your boas are beautiful.

This girl I keep going back and forth on. She has some brown tones I'm not fond of am worried will muddy her adult color, but she's also very orange and has lots of potential. Her spot may be better suited for one of Nymeria's offspring, assuming she gives me a healthy litter in 2023, but I am so torn. lol I have plenty of time to decide, though!

This guy wasn't originally being considered a holdback, and if I hadn't added a bunch of new killer males, he'd be a no-brainer. If he sticks around, I may have to keep him anyways. The males are overtaking the females at this point, so leaning more towards not keeping. haha

He is currently the spiciest out of the litter, and hasn't adjusted with handling as well as the others. He hisses a LOT and strikes, but he is super clean and for a normal has some kickass buckskin and two tone color going on. I wondered for a bit if he was jungle, but I think he's just a nice normal.

That's definitely fair! It's one of the few places that gets enough influx of snake discussions to quench my thirst for snake discussions. lmao Forums, especially nowadays, hardly get any traffic.

And thanks! You'll have to keep an eye out for my thread on the new additions as well! There's about as many new additions as holdbacks in this thread, so I probably won't be adding them all at once.

Re: 2022 Dominika x Howl Holdbacks

Got some updated photos of the holdbacks, unfortunately all photos will have to be indoors for the foreseeable future.

This guy had a fresh shed, about time. Lmao

This girl also had a shed right before this photo was taken.

The rest, I just felt like taking photos of so everyone had new lightbox photos.

Everyone has been moved up to small adult mice now, won’t be long until they’re taking rats!

Re: 2022 Dominika x Howl Holdbacks

To celebrate the move, here are some pics at the new place! I’m debating on moving them to large adult mice within the next few feedings.

Freshly shed, and looking even more like dad:

Right after a shed and really popping. I knew I made a good choice keeping him out of the 3 jungle boys. (And may end up keeping one of the others at this point. )

The other guy, who may be sticking around. Depends on if anyone jumps on him when I post him up again, when I post Nymeria’s litter.

I still gotta get the other two out once they’ve digested their most recent meal. Both of them have shed as well. Nearly all of my boas went into shed at the same time during the move down. And I unfortunately did get a couple stuck sheds.
