    Substrates for larger enclosures?

Do any of you use anything other than newspaper for you larger enclosures? I used to live in the south eastern US and I could get cypress mulch for about the price of newspaper, I have moved though and can't get that anymore. I am not a big fan of newspaper and looking for something else that wont totally break the bank for these larger enclosures.

Coco chips ('ReptiChip' and other brands) are a pretty good value. I've also seen these products at my local grow shop for a bit cheaper than reptile-branded stuff. I use Reptichip and it works well -- regular chips for adult snakes (BP, BRB, milksnakes) and smaller sizes for neonates.
