Show me your funky modern enclosures!
During the months of research I definitely saw some cool decor in peoples snake enclosures. I saw some people with ceramics and other Antiquities, some very modern with a minimal natural appeal. My vision would be almost like the metropolitan museum of art that was overgrown in the distant future planet of the apes style but more planet of the ball pythons.
Thinking about having an artist friend to make Roxy matching hides out of resin and possibly and/or some funky artsy jungle gym piece of furniture.
I don’t want to take the natural element completely out just because it doesn’t seem… well natural

Here's my enclosure. As to how funky or modern it is, I'll allow you to be the judge.

This is a 6' x 30" x2' cage. I've cycled several animals through it. Every one of them has used the perches and open floor area.
These are 4 footers of various heights. The bottom cage is 30" deep the others are 2' deep.
I suppose the only "funk factor" would be the lighting outside of the cages. The lava lamps and other lights have a retro appeal. I like to relax in this room and I will often put on a rainforest soundtrack and watch the animals when I have time.
I enjoy the setups and creating the environments. Occasionally, I will see what others have done and change some of the interiors of the cages here. The larger snakes get a turn at the big cage depending on their activity levels. Currently the 10 year old boa is using it.
Truly amazing set ups . … and spectacular lighting

Re: Show me your funky modern enclosures!
I’m psyched to get my AP enclosure but I have plenty of time to let my creativity gestate but reference pics are great if I decide to have anything custom made for me.
Hss anyone on the board experimented using ceramics or resin pieces in a tropical temped enclosure?
