Any recommendations for a good heater for my snake room?

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a good heater? During the warm months, I keep my ac at 75 and because the house is so efficient, I am comfortable. The snake room stays about 82-83 ambient temp due to all the heat panels in there, so the snakes can live comfortably. However, the cold months is a different matter. I keep the house right now at 73 with the heat and the snake room stays about 75-76. It may be cheaper on power this winter to keep the house around 73 and put on a hoodie and just keep a good space heater in the snake room. Does anyone have a good recommendation on a brand/model that may operate efficiently and be safe so I don't have to worry about burning to death in the middle of the night in a house fire? There is carpet in the room in case that matters.

I don't have a heater in mine but I do keep a small chest freezer for snake food in the snake room. The exhaust from it keeps that room warmer than the rest of the house.

If you want to go with a heater most people use an oil-filled radiant type and attach it to its own thermostat that can handle a 1500W load. A ceiling fan helps to keep the temp constant from floor to ceiling.

Oh ok, I Googled them and they look sorta like old radiators in really old homes. That's a good idea, thanks for the heads up.

I have a delonghi oil heater in my reptile room, it isn't cheap to keep that room heated but otherwise it would sit far too cold.
