Can you help me identify this hatchling?

Hey guys hoping you can help. I have been keeping ball pythons for a few years now but just started breeding. I have one snake from my first clutch that I am struggling to identify. For most of you it may be obvious but i feel like there’s Enchi in there but neither of the parents have Enchi. Hmm

This pic was taken after she was cleaned off after she left the egg so not had first shed yet FYI. Pairing was Leopard/Hurricane/Blaze/Het DG to Pastel/Scaleless Head.

I can’t help thinking it looks like Enchi Leopard with head stamp reflecting pastel gene?

Your expertise and knowledge is much appreciated.

Ps sorry not best pic but didn’t want to hold too long after cleaning her/him off.

Nice looking hatchling. Congrats and not sure but the banding crossbars lead me to go with blaze and hurricane. The scaleless head is pretty apparent. Maybe the leopard influence is making the patterning seem more reduced yet less busy than hurricane.
Stay in peace and not pieces.

Blaze and Enchi have a lot of similarity, so that's probably what is giving you that idea. I think it got everything but Pastel.

Re: Can you help me identify this hatchling?

Thanks for that really useful. Issue I have is the dad is leopard hurricane blaze and looks like this and the leopard seems to complicate and break up the hurricane pattern. It’s very confusing. I also posted a second pic of the sister who is pastel hurricane scaleless head for comparison.

Re: Can you help me identify this hatchling?

I was not aware blaze works like Enchi sometimes thanks for that. It’s hard to find info on blaze online it appears to be a morph that isn’t used too much. I also posted another pic or two above ref the hurricane element of this snake. I just can’t see it myself considering the dad has everything apart from pastel. Would love to hear if you have any further thoughts. As I said I am not too knowledgeable on identifying new babies yet.

Perhaps the OS got a much less obvious hurricane pattern, since there is a great amount of variation in them, or perhaps we were wrong on it having that bit and the Leopard is actually whats causing some of the pattern variation we are seeing. There is quite a good deal of contrast between dad and OS.

Unfortunately there really isn't much info on blaze, so we are having to employ guesswork instead of being able to get a solid ID.

Thank you. I think you are right. I have also sent the pic to Hans who bred the father of the original he might offer some thoughts too. I'll def share here if he does so we can all see.
